Our story began a few years ago, when Keith travelled to Dubai. Whilst on his many casual strolls, the strong aromatic notes of fragrances from Bazaars (street shops) mesmerized Keith. It was then where he purchased a very special fragrance which later on captivated Deidre’s heart. Since then, fragrances have always held a special place in our hearts.
Why Alabaster Fragrance?
There is always a story behind a fragrance. The name Alabaster Fragrance stems from the Bible story of the Alabaster box. Alabaster is a beautiful precious stone that stored expensive perfume. In the story, a woman brings an alabaster box of perfume to anoint Jesus. In doing so, she expressed her love for Jesus with the costliest thing she owned. As a result, Jesus said that wherever His good news is shared, what the woman has done will be told in memory of her. This story inspired us to start Alabaster Fragrances.
